Privacy policy

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us when you call or email: name, phone number, email address and service address.
• Details about the job: what the door is doing, photos you send, and notes from the visit.
• Standard server request data, such as the pages requested, the referring site and your browser type, processed by our website host as part of delivering and protecting the site.

How we use it

To schedule and perform your service, quote the work, order parts, invoice you, honor warranty claims, and respond when you contact us. We do not use it for anything else.

Who processes it

Our website and its email delivery run on Cloudflare, which processes requests to this site and forwards messages sent through it to our own mailbox. We do not currently run any advertising, analytics or session recording tags on this site, and we do not use cookies for tracking. If that changes, this page will be updated before the tag goes live.

We also disclose information where required by law or to establish or defend a legal claim. We never sell or rent personal information.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number we may call you about your appointment and to follow up on the work. We do not currently send marketing texts and we do not record calls. If either changes, this page will say so first.

Retention and security

Service and invoice records are kept as long as needed for warranty, accounting and legal purposes, then deleted. Requests that reach us by email stay in our mailbox under the same schedule. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, though no system is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep for tax and warranty purposes. Email info@mrfixitgaragedoor.com or call (877) 701-3851.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the updated version on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
